:: The Heritability of Dyslexia ::

I checked out this research report by the Dyslexia Research Trust. This was a study of dyslexia and how it functions when it comes to genetics. It involved a very in-depth research process with powerful techniques, but it is incredible to see what all is involved with dyslexia. 

A short excerpt from the report:
"Comparing identical and nonidentical twins has shown that your genes account for about half your reading skills and upbringing and environment the other half (ie the heritability of dyslexia is c. 50%)"
